MAKING A PURCHASE
If you wish to pay by credit card or debit card please choose (Payment by credit or debit card" or "Please invoice" at check out and we will send you details on how to pay or ring 01753 525 115 and order by phone.
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within 28 days and in original, unopened and undamaged packaging.* Please see below for exceptions to this policy.
Products we are unable to refund or exchange:
For reasons of hygiene and safety we cannot refund or exchange the following products unless they are faulty: Medical Masks, Respirators, Googles and Spectacles, Latex Gloves.
As we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods we recommend that you obtain proof of posting. Please note that all goods return must be in their original packaging and with all seals in tact.
Your statutory rights are not affected. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us.
We normally have plenty of stock for all the items on our website and orders arte usually despatched within one or two days. If an item is not in stock we can normally source new stock within one day. Small orders (up to three or four boxes) are normally posted by Royal Mail First Class. Royal Mail state that they aim to delivey small packets within three or four working days but from experience, our customer often say they receive their order within one or two days. However please allow up to two weeks for delivery. In exceptional times, like the bird flu pandemic, there may be a delay to orders being despatched. If the delay is over five working days we will advise you in advance. Claims for non delivery must be received within no later than 21 days from date of order. If there is nobody in when the Royal Mail or courier trys to deliver your order a "while you were out" card is left. You will then have to contact the courier to arrange another deliver or go to your local Royal Mail Sorting office to collect your order. If you do not contact the courier, or the courier cannot deliver, the order will be returned to us and an additional charge will be incurred. This also applies to orders where delivery has been attempted by the Royal Mail, a card is left and the customer does not collect the order from the sorting office.
If you have notified us of a problem with the goods within 21 days of delivery, we will (at our discretion) either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. Our liability to you shall not in any event include losses related to any business of yours, such as loss of profits or business interruption, neither will we be responsible to you for any other loss which is not a foreseeable consequence of us being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or our legal duties.
This does not affect your statutory rights if you are a consumer, nor is it intended to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
Goods are intended for use in the UK only and we cannot confirm that the goods comply with any laws, regulations or other standards applicable outside the UK. All goods are sold in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and are subject to any qualifications, representations or instructions contained in the documentation associated with the goods.
If you are a trade customer we will not be responsible to you or, in the event that you are undertaking work for another person, to any other person, for the use or supply of any goods by you. Accordingly, if you are a trade customer, you hereby agree to hold us harmless, and indemnify us against any liability associated with, any claim or allegation that we are responsible for any failings in the use of goods that we supply.
If you are a trade customer our credit terms are fourteen days from date of invoice and the customer agrees to pay interest calculated at 4% per month in respect of invoices still outstanding 14 days from date of invoice unless extended credit terms have been agreed in writing. We reserve thr right to suspend or cancel shipments for accounts which are overdue.
It is agreed that this or any contract that exists between us and the customer is governed by English Law and no other. It is agreed that any dispute or grievance between us and the customer be settled by arbitration either in The Slough County Court or by the Arbitration Service Offices in London SW1 and any claim shall be limited to the cost of the products ordered. with both parties responsible for their own expenses and legal costs etc.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Orders are usually shipped with one or two business days but please allow up to 28 days for standard delivery. If your purchase is urgent please contact us directly. Express Shipping refers to the type of carriage and not how fast the order will be processed although Express shipping orders are normally processed within one business day and before standard orders. If it expected that there will bedelays to shipping a notice will be posted on our homepage.
For overseas orders we will calculate the correct postage and packaging costs and contact you before we process your order if the cost is more than shown on your confirmation. It is agreed that we will not be held responsible for late delivery due to circumstances beyond our control. Customers are responsible for taxes and import duties and any other fees in their own country and it is agreed that we are not responsible for these or for non delivery to overseas countries due to events not under our control.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT is added
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
This is a secure site. When you proceed to "Checkout" you will see a padlock icon appear in your browser. When the order is placed your credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. This is the same type of
system used by major banks to protect your information.
If you find any fault with any of our products simply return it within 7 days in the original packaging and we will replace it*. This does not affect your statutory rights. * Applies to mainland UK customers only.
The company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), possible pandemic, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service], and the Company will have a right to terminate any order contract in such circumstances.
